The NL4 is the perfect companion for the water sports area around Rotterdam, the southern part of the famous "Staande Mastroute," and the Maas Delta. In the north, the Atlas begins near the capital Amsterdam, which is worth a detour. The small canals are a very charming water sports area. The famous port city Rotterdam is also worth exploring. As the largest port in Europe, you can watch the busy hustle and bustle and on your way there you will encounter large ships and container ships on the canals. In the Maas Delta south of Rotterdam, things are a lot quieter. The branched rivers and tributaries are partly flat, and the strong tides should also be carefully observed. The area has numerous small nature reserves. This ensures a comparatively quieter atmosphere but should also be considered when planning your trip, as driving in these areas is only permitted to a limited extent or even completely prohibited.
Thanks to the clear structure of the nautical chart, the skipper can quickly find approaches, harbours and anchorages and is informed of important navigational details that also appear in the NV Charts app. The tide data and current information are also available in the app. The chart series impresses with its detailed scales and optimal sheet cuts.
