All the information on board
SeaReader is our brilliant new means of viewing commercial shipping e-books on board ship, in ship management offices, and in the offices of naval architects, marine consultants, and nautical surveyors.
With most commercial vessels moving to e-navigation, officers on board and managers ashore need a simple and easily managed solution for the regulations and technical information they need to ensure that global compliance, navigation, safety and environmental requirements are met.
It is an onerous task to ensure compliance with maritime regulations which are changing and ever increasing. SeaReader provides a full technical library for use on board and ashore in a clean, simple, and easy-to-use interface which ensures compliance with flagstate and international regulations.
Reduce administration
SeaReader provides a full digital technical library of IMO e-books and e-books from the UK’s Maritime & Coastguard Agency, Brown Son & Ferguson and other publishers. One annual licence provides access to paid for ebooks on two separate PCs. It provides all of the e-books needed on board or in a marine superintendent’s office in a fast, easy to use, digital format. It eliminates the associated costs and administration of maintaining a paper library as all the data is on the vessel or office at all times and the entire library is updated easily with just one click of a button. One doesn’t even need to be online to update the digital library.
Updated information with just one-click
In the event of a vessel inspection, SeaReader makes it easy to ensure compliance by having all mandatory publications on board ship and updating existing e-books and purchasing new ones quickly.
SeaReader contains Flag State Regulations from Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Canada, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Isle of Man, Liberia, Malta, Marshall Islands, Norway, Panama, United Kingdom and USA, with more to come soon. Included e-books from IMO, Nautical Institute, Brown, Son & Ferguson, Imray, and a growing list of other maritime publishers.
ADMIRALTY digital publications are provided via ADP for TotalTide, Digital List of Lights and Digital List of Radio Signals; AENP provides e-book ADMIRALTY Sailing Directions, The Mariner’s Handbook Ocean Passages for the World and other miscellaneous ADMIRALTY titles.
